What is wider perils
Our property cover can be extended to include the other perils of Storm, Burst Pipes, Impact Damage, Theft, Riot and Malicious Damage
What is liability insurance and why do I need it
Liability Insurance protects you against financial loss if your duty of care, your negligence or the condition of your property is found to cause a person to be injured or killed, or a person's property to be damaged or destroyed or they suffer loss as a result of relying on your services as property owner, or Lessor.
Our policy includes Property Owners Liability, which includes personal injury, property damage and advertising injury.
Why do I need an insurance broker, why not just go direct?
Insurance brokers are insurance professionals who can act independently of insurers. They provide advice and arrange appropriate cover for you through one or more insurance companies. When an insurance broker acts for you, its role is to thoroughly assess your situation, and develop an insurance package to suit your needs and protect your assets. This package may combine products from a range of insurers, or just one, depending on your needs. Insurance brokers deal with the insurer on your behalf, and take responsibility for keeping you informed, up to date, and covered. An insurance broker will also often have access to a number of specialised insurance companies that won’t deal with the public.
Who is the security behind the cover?
The policy is provided by Mainstay Underwriting, a Lloyd’s Coverholder. Lloyd’s is the world’s specialist insurance and reinsurance market. A Lloyd's market often provide the security for local insurers around the world. For information on Lloyd’s, their members and their capacity, please visit www.lloyds.com
